HOW WE RUN SOLD

School of Living Disciples is a live-in discipleship intensive. Held in the context of a home for intentional community and life on life discipleship. Our school is Based off of the Rabbinic approach Jesus initiated with His disciples by saying “come follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men”. We believe that God “makes us” a people molded by Him as we follow Him together in community and do life together.

We value small & intimate, close & vulnerable. We want to know YOU! This can’t be accomplished in large classroom settings, therefore we’ve moved to the home.
Home is where we get up close and personal. It’s where you can feel safe and open your heart to the family God's placed you in. You need to be known! Therefore come into a family and community that prizes every individual and is willing to give their lives to walk with you and show you how they walk with God.

The unique approach of this program includes our team living in the same home as the students and imparting what we carry by “life together.” We strongly believe in impartation and Biblically see this approach for how deep discipleship takes place.

Our Schools are purposely limited to a handful of students (6-10 students per home) to ensure the quality of the our time together. Intentionally set to give individual attention to fathering and mentoring each son and daughter to see them walk closely to their Father.

Our emphasis is placed on living out the gospel, together. There will be a lot of practical, hands-on training and equipping for the work of the ministry as well. Our schools activate you to do the thing, not just learn about it. You will be challenged in many areas by your mentors and grow in your love for Jesus. You will be immersed into His Presence and His Word, having the Holy Spirit teach you as you spend hours seeking God’s face. We strongly believe that God will mold each son and daughter as they give themselves to encounter Him individually and corporately.

CURRICULUM

People are the source of our curriculum.

Each life is a handbook to be learned from. They embody the message that God has given to them to reveal His glory. Every individual imparts the grace that they carry, as they pour out their hearts and lives to you. Our program is set up to allow everyone involved to be a part of The River that the Holy Spirit flows though.

TEACHERS

Our Teachers are community based.

The teachers that our schools choose to invite are unique and specific to what the Lord wants to do in each individual home. We have high standards to ensure each teacher is reliable and capable to impart the truth that they carry. We've had long lasting relationships with each teacher sharing at the school. They're ones who've impacted our own lives. We know each one of them live out what they pour out.

THE GOAL

The goal is transformation, which happens through revelation.

We're aware that this occurs in different settings and in numerous ways. Our goal is to create an atmosphere where His Presence is at the forefront of all we do, bringing every heart into receiving all that He's prepared for us. This is why the school is brought into different elements of life. Whether in the house or out on the streets, God is in it all. We don’t separate God from anything we do, but rather invite Him into every moment.
And by this, we are transformed.
